I’ve sent a recent testimonial but so far haven’t see it posted. Here it is again. Enjoy! I want to shout it from the room tops that this has been an exciting experience. Dr. Kim is the most caring and knowledgeable physician. He has absolutely the most wonderful and friendly staff working with him. I am planning to have more procedures with them as I have found them to be excellent in their services and very reasonable. In todays times we all must be cautious when having procedures (improvement) and must “shop” for the best. As far as I’m concerned this gifted group is the best!! They are welcome to share my information with anyone who would like to hear from a curent patient and are free to contact me. Thank you so much Dr. Kim.!!

I’m a 70 year old woman who worked all my life in high heels, causing varicose and spider veins., Mesa, Aproz 85212
I can’t say enough about the wonderful treatment I have received from Dr. Alex Kim and his staff. I began to have vein issues in my legs this year, and Dr. Kim started treatment right away. Everyone at Bellagio Vein Clinic, including Jose and Jackie, has been marvelous. They keep me informed throughout the process, and they are quick to answer all my questions. I am very grateful that my family physician immediately referred me to Dr. Kim because he is an amazing, caring and compassionate surgeon. I would recommend Dr. Kim to anyone in need of his skills because you and your family members will be cared for by an excellent doctor who loves his patients. I rarely post my interactions with doctors or other service providers, but this team of professionals has gone above and beyond what most of experience when we are ill, and I appreciate them more than I can express. I am clearly not their only/favorite patient, but they manage to make me feel like I am. Thank you, thank you. Yours truly, Sandee

Married with 3 beautiful girls and 1 amazing grandson, Chandler, AZ
I found out I had a stone in my gall bladder the day before Easter and needed emergency surgery. Before even meeting with Dr. Kim, he wrote back to my email immediately and made sure I was on the right medication before I went into surgery.
He was very genuine and caring to all my questions and concerns. Not to mention, he checked in every day at the hospital to make sure I was getting the proper care.
I am now all healed up and don’t have any scars. I am so happy I went to Dr. Kim for this surgery and trust him for any more in the future.

I don’t know of too many doctors that will give you his own cell phone number so you can reach him whenever you need him. We would highly recommend him to all of our friends and family.

To Whom It May Concern:
It gives me great pleasure to write this letter, but for the most part, to recognize this wonderful doctor and the excellent professional manner in which he works. It was my first visit with Dr. Kim when I was completely in awe of the proficient and timely manner in which he handles things. I had recently been in the hospital and diagnosed with an umbilical hernia, while Dr. Kim’s office worked me in the same day.
The faculty at Dr. Kim’s office was friendly and had a refreshing quality about them that you don’t see in many doctor’s offices anymore. I didn’t wait longer than five or ten minutes before I was taken back to meet Dr. Kim. He did a thorough exam and had me scheduled for surgery within 5 days of seeing me. I was amazed at how often the office and Dr. Kim would call and check up on me prior to my surgery. Yes, Dr. Kim would take his time out of his busy day to make sure that I was doing okay and that I could wait the 5 days to remove the hernia.
Everyone who has been a patient respects a man that can humble himself enough to not have others do his work for him. He cared! It is such an arête to find a skilled doctor and one with excellent bedside manners as well. I would highly recommend, anyone going into surgery to have Dr. Kim perform your surgical needs. My umbilical hernia was huge, but Dr. Kim made the incision beautiful. I know he takes a lot of pride in his work, and that’s the kind of doctor you need by your side. Thank you Dr. Kim for the excellent care you gave me and the support I needed through that time. Dr. Kim, you will do well in this field because people like you, and you possess highly accredited skills that are necessary for excellent results.

Dear Ms. White,
My name is Joanne ______ . I have been visiting my daughter, Patty _______ and family from North Carolina. I am also a retired nurse of 40 years. In today’s world, people are quick to point out the negatives, instead of bringing notice to the positives. I am writing to you about the positive experience I had with Drs. Howard and Kim. Here is my story.
On Saturday, March 27th, I started feeling nauseated in the late afternoon and thought I had food poisoning. It progressed to nausea, vomiting and diarrhea and I went to an urgent care. I was given meds for nausea and vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal cramping with no improvements after approximately 40 hours. I returned to the urgent care on March 31st and was advised to go to the ER. My daughter took me to Chandler Regional, having been pleased with the care she received previously.
I was triaged by Dr. Gregory Berman and treatment of labs and x-rays were started in a timely manner. I was then put into a cubicle in the ER. IV’s and meds were initiated after seeing Dr. Paul McHale. I later had a CT scan and an ultrasound which gave Dr. Catherine Nolan a diagnosis of cholecystitis with a fistula and a large stone. I was admitted to Room 231 as soon as it became available.
Dr. Travis Howard saw me the next morning and told me that I needed surgery that day. After checking the OR schedule he returned and told me the surgery would be done about 2:30pm. Shortly after, Dr. Alex Kim came by to introduce himself and tell me he would be assisting Dr. Howard. After getting medical and cardiac clearance, I was taken to the OR holding area about 2:00pm.
I want to let you know how pleased I am with the surgical procedure and post operative care I have received from both Drs. Howard and Kim. They both seem very knowledgeable in their specialty and are quite the professionals. Their bedside manner is uniquely warm and caring. Not only did they take the time to explain to me what was going on but also took the time to explain to my daughter in terms that she could understand.
I have learned they are both fairly new to your facility and thought you might like to have a patient’s input on the care they give. I admit I was a little apprehensive, being a visitor to the area and not knowing the medical staff. However, I feel very blessed I was fortunate enough to have these two surgeons. I really felt I was in good hands.
I was pleased for the most part with nursing, anesthesiology, dietary, and even the housekeeping care I received while at your facility. The information board was constantly updated. Whenever I needed something, I had a direct number to notify them. The anesthesiologist popped his head in the next morning to say hello and to check on me.
I will be flying back to North Carolina this Wednesday, April 28. If you have any questions, I can be reached on my cell phone at _____________ or at my daughter’s home phone _______________

Dear Ms. White (CEO of Chandler Regional Medical Center),
I am writing to tell you about the excellent care given to my husband , John ______ , at Chandler Regional Hospital by Dr. K Alex Kim. My husband was a very unusual case in that until 3/11/2010 when he was admitted to Chandler Regional Hospital by ambulance from the Dr’s office for A fib, he was a healthy active man, working full time and going to the gym 5 days a week. This all changed so suddenly and was diagnosed with A-fib and stage 4 prostate cancer.
He was initially discharged from Chandler Regional Hospital on 3/17/2010 but he deteriorated within less than a week with not eating or drinking much. He experienced violent dry heaves if he swallowed anything, even an ice chip. He then was readmitted on 3/29/2010 to Chandler Regional Hospital and it was determined that he needed nourishment to survive.
Dr. Kim did the surgery to place a J-tube and also remove his gallbladder which was bad. My family and I all feel that if Dr. Kim did not do this surgery, my husband would not have survived. Dr. Kim stepped in, took control, and coordinated my husband’s care. Dr. Kim’s empathy and expertise is beyond question. His availability and constant communication with our family during this time, was much appreciated and truly essential to assure that my husband got the care and treatment he needed. Without Dr. Kim we would not be where we are today.
There is a possibility of my husband being discharged from Rehab tomorrow, Thursday, 4/22/2010. He is eating 100% of his meals and has been taken off the feeding tube. He walks without a walker or cane and can shower and take care of himself. This truly is a miracle considering I was close to becoming a widow several weeks ago.
My entire family and I including Jack (my husband) are very appreciative of Dr. Kim and all of his excellent care and support. If you wish to speak with me or any of our family, please call.
